Nous n’avons pas pris la peine de traduire vu les réponses très succinctes de Pete Jacobs. Certains athlètes sont un peu moins disponible que d’autres … pourtant il a le temps de s’amuser vu son Facebook…..   Ok they are done. So close to Kona I can not go into any more details. I am focusing on the race.  Why do you choose to race in Kona ? because I want to be the best in the world. How was your year with the KPR ? not a problem because I won last year i have plenty of points. What do you think about KPR ? ok When will you arrive in Kona ? 2nd oct. What is the most difficult in this race ? passing the long line of riders without getting stuck beside someone too long and risking a penalty. What is your goal this year in Kona ? Communiqué de Presse Challenge: Death of a participant to “V Challenge Barcelona-Maresme” The management of Challenge Barcelona, the Calella City Council and the Spanish Triathlon Federation confirm the death of one of the participants to the competition currently underway this Sunday in this region. In the first meters of the swim circuit, the triathlete lost consciousness and was immediately spotted by the on-site Red Cross emergency team. He was brought back to shore where he was treated for respiratory arrest by the organization’s medical team (three doctors and two nurses), who were then reinforced by a mobile emergency team of the Medical Emergencies System dispatched to the area. The medical services certified the triathlete’s death after performing all available advanced reanimation manoeuvers without success. The management of Challenge, who has been supporting the family at all times, has put all the means necessary to overcome the situation at their disposal. The Mayoress of Calella, Montserrat Candini, immediately informed the British Consulate of the tragedy, who also put itself at the family’s disposal. Sur le cinquième anniversaire fêté cet après-midi  sur la côte du Maresme, CHALLENGE BARCELONA, la triathlète autrichienne Eva Wutti (08:51:01) a confirmé les pronostics en améliorant de 7 minutes le précédent record détenu jusqu’à aujourd’hui par l’anglaise Lucy Gossage, chez les hommes, c’est le portugais Sergio Marques qui l’a emporté à la surprise générale, en 8:05:21, battant le meilleur temps réalisé par Clemente Alonso en 2011 à 08:15:25.
